I’m Marios, a software engineer based in Greece. I work on infrastructure, distributed systems, and occasionally write about technology and other interests.
What is “within specifications”?
It’s the name of this blog. Things are within specifications when they work as expected — a goal we all strive for in engineering and life.
What does “DO NOT PANIC” mean?
It’s a reference to The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. The Guide has “DON’T PANIC” inscribed in large, friendly letters on its cover. Good advice for navigating both the galaxy and software development.
What do you write about?
Technology, photography, software engineering, and whatever else catches my attention. The posts span from 2009 to now, covering various topics that interested me at the time.
